Ek aur sabse major plus point iss gaadi is that, with the 1.4-litre engine KIA Pegas ki average fuel mileage is somewhere around 24 kmpl on highway as per the claims made by the brand. But in real world conditions aap expect kar sakte hain a mileage figure of 17-18 kmpl in city and 18-19 kmpl on highway. Iss gaadi ka automatic variant is more efficient as it is a 4-speed torque convertor toh untill 80-90 kmph it churns out good mileage whereas city traffic mein 40-50 kmph ki speed mein bhi it gives decent mileage figures.
Safety quotient mein bhi KIA Pegas ko kaafi well equip kiya gaya hain and in comparison to other offerings in the compact sedan segment in India yeh gaadi safe prove ho sakti hain agar safety features ki baat kare toh (Not referring to the Global NCAP rating as it has not been tested yet).
Pricing ki agar baat kare toh in the UAE, KIA Pegas available hain in two variants jo hain manual (base variant) and automatic (top trim). For the manual variant price is AED 45,000 (Rs.9-10 lakh) and top trim ka price AED 50,000 approx. (Rs.10-11 lakh). Indian market prices mein we can expect little bit of extra premium because of the taxes but yes agar KIA India mein hee Pegas ko manufacture karna start kardeti hain then it could be a strong economical competitor to the most selling Maruti Suzuki Dzire.
