2022 New KIA Carens | Variants, Features & Powertrains Revealed- January 14, 2022 is the date when KIA Motors India is going to launch its all new MPV Carens. For starters, KIA Carens offer kari jayegi in five variants jo hain Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury and Luxury Plus jiss mei se Premium being the lowest variant and Luxury Plus being the top end variant with all the bells and whistles. One major change jo abb KIA ki iss new car mein aapko offer kiye jayenge woh honge enhanced and more number of safety features as standard across all variants.
2022 KIA Carens: Variant Wise Features And Powertrains Explained-
As we know that Carens ek 6 and 7-seater MPV hain so definitely iss gaadi mein optional seating configuration on offer hongi, starting from the base premium variant till the top Luxury Plus variant KIA offer karega full 7-seats layout. But agar aap chahte hain 6-seater configuration in your Carens, then aap ko 6-seats layout sirf Luxury Plus mein offer kiya jayega.
Powertrain Options-
New KIA Carens available hogi in first in class turbo petrol and diesel powertrains combined with the choice of 6-speed manual, 7-speed DCT and 6-speed automatic transmission options.
Base variant Premium and ek upar variant Prestige mein mein aap ko milenge all three engine options but only with 6-speed manual transmission. Whereas Prestige Plus ki agar baat kare toh it gets the 1.5 litre diesel with manual and 1.4 litre turbo petrol with both manual and DCT options. Now moving upwards so Luxury variant mein sirf manual transmission ke saath 1.4 litre turbo petrol and 1.5 litre diesel engines will be offered. Top end variant Luxury Plus mein sab engine options available honge except 1.5 litre petrol manual engine option.
Variant Wise Features List-
1. Premium: Steel wheels with wheel covers, dual tone interior, semi leatherette upholstery, second row one touch electric tumble, front and rear armrest, all four power windows, 7.5-inch LCD MID, driver seat height adjustment etc.
2. Prestige: Fabric and leather seats, roof rails, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, shark fin antenna, rear parking camera with guidelines, keyless entry, powered ORVMs, front parking sensors, 6-speaker sound system, 12.5-inch LCD MID, follow me home headlamps, automatic headlamps etc.
3. Prestige Plus: 16-inch dual tone alloy wheels, LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, automatic climate control, smart key, engine push start/stop, rear wiper with washer, defogger, cruise control, electrically foldable ORVMs etc.
4. Luxury: LED headlamps, LED foglamps, ambient lighting, leather upholstery, chrome door handles, auto dimming IRVM, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech, air purifier etc.
5. Luxury Plus: Ventilated front seats, sky light electric sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting, rain sensing wipers, Bose 8-speaker sound system, wireless charger with cooling function, paddle shifters, captain seats optional, driving modes, TPMS etc.
Safety features ki agar baat kare toh KIA Carens mein following safety features will be offered as standard: 6-airbags, ESC+VSM, HAC, DBC, ABS with EBD, all four disc brakes, highline TPMS, rear parking sensors etc.
Colour Options On Offer-
The new KIA Carens available hogi in eight colour options jo hain: Imperial Blue, Moss Brown, Sparkling Silver, Intense Red Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, Glacier White Pearl and Clear White.
