But since the popularity of the old Scorpio is immense and a lot of people would still show interest in the old Scorpio, so Mahindra ne decide kiya hain to launch the old Scorpio with minor tweaks and keeping it as raw as possible.
New Mahindra Scorpio Classic Looks Premium With Mahindra’s New Logo-
Today we have come across these spy shots of the new Mahindra Scorpio Classic and first thing jo notice kari jaa sakti hain woh hain Scorpio ka original stance with the boxy shape jisko log pasand karte hain as it gives a proper SUV feel. Mahindra ne silhouette ko same rakh ke few design elements mein change kiya hain like the new 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, new twin peak Mahindra logo in the front, new front grille, revised side body cladding and new logo at the tail gate too above the registration plate fixture. Exterior mein se LED indicators ko ORVMs se remove karke side fender par replace kardiya gaya hain with the new mHawk badging.
Apart from all these changes new Mahindra Scorpio Classic mein wahi same halogen projector headlamps, LED DRLs, same ORVMs, halogen fog lamps, silver under bumper finish, rear roof mounted spoiler, roof rails, rear step to climb onto the last row of seats, extended long LED tail lights and rear washer and wiper. All these are the original styling and functional elements jo Scorpio ko rugged yet smart look provide karte hain from the launch of this generation of Scorpio.
Coming to the interior of the new Mahindra Scorpio Classic, almost poora interior layout same dekhne ko milega as we show you the interior spy shots as well. Since these spy shots are of the top end variant of the new Mahindra Scorpio Classic so it continues to get a touchscreen infotainment system but looks like an updated one, old steering wheel with the new logo and gloss black finish, automatic climate control, old instrument cluster, cruise control, etc.
Coming to the performance part, so currently Mahindra Scorpio mein on offer hain 2.2-litre ka mHawk 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine jo produce karta hain 140 bhp ki max. power and 319 Nm ka max. torque. But this time in the Mahindra Scorpio Classic, Mahindra ne power figures reduce kardiye hain which means Scorpio Classic mein diye jaane wala 2.2-litre engine produce karega 120 bhp ki max. power and 280 Nm ka max. torque.
Now this move has been done because the more premium and expensive Scorpio N ke base variant ka engine produce karta hain 130 bhp ki max. power and giving more powerful engine in the less expensive Scorpio Classic would result in people opting for the Scorpio Classic more.
In the spy shots we have also spotted the change in seating layout of the third row of seats. Earlier Scorpio mein third row seats ke liye jump seats were on offer but this time Scorpio Classic mein both jump seats and front facing seats with adjustable headrests ka option on offer hoga.
