1.Ford Mahindra Joint Venture Called Off-

Ford Motors aur Mahindra and Mahindra ne October 2019 me apna joint venture agreement sign kiya jahan unhone kaha ki woh India me jointly work karenge aur vehicles develop karenge for Indian and overseas market. 31^st December 2020 ko, dono automakers ne iss JV ko call off kar diya. Iss joint venture ko call off karne ka main reason hai fundamental changes in global economic and business conditions due to on-going pandemic.

2.FASTag Deadline Extended till 15^th February 2021-

Government of India ne mandatory FASTag on all vehicles ka deadline 31^st December 2020 se 15^th February 2021 kar diya hai. Government ne iss deadline ko extend karte hue kaha ki ab tak kai saare log FASTag par switch nahi hue hai aura b bhi tolls par cash payment kar rahe hai. Government ne ample time diya hai taki log jald se jald FASTag ka use karna start kare.

3.Kia Hikes Prices of Seltos and Sonnet-

Kia motors ne announce kiya hai ki from 1^st January 2021 onwards woh apne Seltos and Sonnet models ke select variants pe price hike karne wala hai. Sonnet ke diesel variants par Rs 20,000 ka price hike dekhne milega aur Seltos ke select variants jasie HTK, HTX aur GTX par Rs 10,000 – Rs 11,000 ka price hike dekhne mil sakta hai.

4.Tata Altorz Turbo Official Teaser Revealed-

Tata Motors kai baar Altroz turbo variant ko Indian roads pe test karta hua paya gaya tha. Tata ne iss model ke regarding koi bhi  information share nahi ki thi. Tata ne recently apne social media channels par Tata Altroz Turbo variant ki official teaser share ki hai aur iss car ko 13^th January 2021 ko launch kiya jayega.

5.Dual Front Airbags Made Mandatory-

Government of India ne already mandate kiya tha ki 1^st July 2019 se driver airbag ek standard feature hoga. Safety ko aur zyada badhane ke liye, Ministry of Transport ne recently announce kiya hai ki 1^st April 2021 onwards saare new cars me driver and passenger airbags, standard feature hoga.
