Dacia Duster was a product that kind of changed the brand image of not just only producing mass market affordable cars but also stylish and capable mass market ones.
New Dacia Duster or the Renault Duster has been an awaited launch, it has been in the pipeline for years now due to several test runs and market research. It comes with a new design language and as per the brand new 3rd generation Duster ko design kiya gaya hain to be more tougher with a more enhanced car-like experience as it now gets the new CMF-B platform.
Engine specifications ki baat kare toh, new Renault Duster or the Dacia Duster is going to get multiple engine options as it is going to be sold across the globe in different markets. But as of now, Dacia ne reveal kiye hain three engine options including the new hybrid drivetrain option. First one is the Duster hybrid 140 that comprises of a 4-cylinder 1.6-litre 94 hp petrol with two electric motors ( a 49 hp powerplant and a high voltage starter generator) and an electric automatic gearbox with 4 engine ratios and 1 motor ratios.
Second engine option hain Duster TCe 130 jo pehli baar use kar raha hain Dacia providing an initial degree of electrification. Iss drivetrain mein new generation 3-cylinder 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol motor hain with a 48V mild hybrid motor. TCe 130 powertrain available hoga with 1 6-speed gearbox in 4×2 and 4×4 versions.
Third and the engine which should be limited to the European market (our assumption) is the ECO-G 100 LPG engine. This newly designed engine runs on LPG which has Dacia’s built-in tried and tested technology that guarantees safety and reliability. Yeh engine jab LPG par run karega tab on an average 10% less CO2 release karega than a petrol engine. It can drive up to 1,300 kms** with its two tanks holding 100 litres between them- 50 litres of petrol and 50 litres of LPG. (**awaiting WLTP cycle certification)
Exterior design ki agar baat kare toh, new Duster’s design is consistent and it moves with the times and combines its outdoor and robust character with a more sustainable edge. Front and rear end mein skid plates ka hee example agar liya jaaye toh, paint ka use nahi kiya gaya hain as using paint isn’t good for environment and for the customers: scrapes and scratched won’t alter the original colour.
Side underbody shields, wheel-arch guards, hallmarks, triangles on the front bumper and rear shield tail are made of a sturdy material jo design kiya gaya hain by Dacia’s engineers and LyondellBasell’s chemists, Starkle. Rear end mein kaafi striking rear tail lamps ka design diya gaya hain which are simplistic yet looking smart. There’s a new Y-shaped theme going inside out the car, Duster’s new head and rear lamps are arranged in a Y and the same shape is visible on the alloy rims jo again chrome free to maintain the sustainable quotient of the car.
Abb baat kare hain India launch ki, new Renault Duster is being anticipated in the Indian market and we are assuming too that the new Dacia Duster is going to be the next big launch for the European brand in the subcontinent.
