Yamaha FZ-X is powered by an air-cooled 4-stroke 150cc (displacement:149cc) SOHC engine, Yamaha ka yeh 2-valve Blue Core FI engine produce karta hain 12.4 PS (@7,250 RPM) ki max. power and 13.3 Nm (@ 5,500 RPM )ka max. torque. FZ-X ka exhaust note bhi Yamaha ne tune kiya hain to produce a powerful sound.

Yamaha FZ-X offer karti hain masculine and commanding presence and comes across as a handsome motorcycle with strong metal components jo visible hain on the fuel tank, side covers, engine guard, headlight stays, front fender, fender stay and the grab bar for increased strength and durability.
