2022 New MG ZS EV Spotted Testing In India | To Be Launched By Mid 2022-
Indian market mein electric vehicles ke segment sabse pehle launch hone waalo mein se thi MG ZS EV jo MG brand ki India mein entrance ke saath saath India mei layi gayi thi. But now the old MG ZS EV feels outdated a bit and iss EV ka facelifted version global market already mein launch ho chuka hain so Indian market mein bhi 2022 model aane waali hain quite soon. Although launch ki exact timing ki confirmation nahi hain but since it has been spotted testing near MG’s manufacturing plant in Halol, Gujarat so definitely we can expect this car anytime by mid of 2022.

Looking at the testing mule jo heavily camouflaged thi we weren’t able to spot many exterior updates but still taking inspiration from global model we are expecting quite a few exterior changes like: new hexagonal closed front grille with a celestial pattern, more sleeker LED headlamps, redesigned front and rear bumper, wider air dam, new set of 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, new revised LED tail lamps etc.
Expected List Of Features And Interior Updates-
New MG ZS EV ke interior as we mentioned as such koi major changes nahi dekhne ko milenge but one major update could be a new and larger (10.1-inch to be precise) touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, soft touch on dashboard, new digital instrument cluster, connected car tech etc.
New MG ZS EV Expected To Get Updated Powertrain-
Currently MG ZS EV mein 44.5 kwh ki lithium ion battery hain jo produce karti hain 419 kms in a single full charge and electric motor produce karti hain 141 PS ki max. power and 353 Nm ka max. torque. But abb expected yeh kiya jaa raha that new ZS EV mein abb di jaa sakti hain 51 kwh battery pack.
But on the contrary part, as per recent type approval document MG may offer a smaller battery pack of 40 kwh in order to cut costs, and yeh baat last year August mein leak bhi hui thi which was quite criticised amongst the auto industry.
