All New KIA Carens 7-Seater MPV Revealed | To Be Launched In 2022– KIA India has finally unveiled its MPV jo compete karegi against the lights of Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus etc. it is the all new KIA Carens 6 and 7-seater MPV. KIA Carens abb hogi fourth vehicle after Sonet jo launch kari gayi hain Indian market mein by KIA, and its going to be launched by early 2022. New KIA Carens would share a lot of similarities with its mid-size SUV sibling Seltos including the powertrain options. Carens mein three row seating ke saath 6-seater variant mein middle row mein captain seats ka option bhi diya jayega.
All New KIA Carens 6 & 7-Seater MPV Debuts | First Look-
KIA Carens ka name derive kiya gaya hain from the words “car” and “renaissance” and based hain on ‘opposites united’ design philosophy, and this is the first car for India to be based on this design philosophy by the Korean car maker.
Exterior Styling-
As we mentioned that Carens design kari gayi on ‘opposites united’ ke new design philosophy par toh ussi prakar iss gaadi ka exterior bhi kaafi uniquely design kiya gaya hain. Front end mein gaadi ke aap ko dekhne ko mileng dual beam LED projector headlamp setup with split LED DRLs on the top, SUV like bonnet, wider front air intake and sleek LED foglamps mounted lower on the front bumper.
Side profile ki agar baat kare toh it looks very MPV like with design elements like chrome door handles, diamond cut alloy wheels, roof rails, chrome window line, thick body cladding, LED turn indicators on ORVMs etc. Rear end mein new Carens ke aap spot kar paenge kaafi saare smart looking elements like wrap around LED tail lamps with LED strip in between connecting both lights, sporty rear bumper with silver accents, LED brake high mount brake lamp etc.
Interior Layout-
Interior ki agar baat kare toh it looks very premium and material jo use kiya gaya hain that’s somewhat similar to what KIA offers in its other cars like Seltos. Similar to what Seltos and Sonet, Carens ko bhi KIA ne ek feature loaded car banaya hain with the following features on offer:
10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech UVO, dual zone climate control, wireless charger, panoramic sunroof, air purifier, Bose premium sound system with 8-speakers, 64-colour ambient mood lighting, ventilated front seats, multi drive modes, 2nd row seat “one touch easy electric tumble” etc.
Engine Options On Offer-
New KIA Carens is powered by both petrol and diesel powertrains, jo options Seltos mein on offer hain wahi same engine options with same specs Carens mein bhi offer kiye gaye hain. First engine option is the 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol engine jo produce karta hain 140 PS ki max. power and 242 Nm ka max. torque mated to 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT units.
Second engine option is 1.5 litre diesel engine jo produce karta hain 115 PS ki max. power and 250 Nm ka max. torque mated to 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission units.
