Ford had an interesting journey in the Indian market, but their exit left many people wondering why exactly Ford left India when Endeavour and EcoSport had such a big customer base. On the contrary, there was also a thought of Ford not being ambitious enough and well known with the demands of the Indian market which eventually led to its decline.

Although, Ford ne khud kabhi bhi EcoSport facelift ko develop nahi kiya but instead jo bhi facelift mein use kiye gaye accessories thi the complete kit was scrapped unfortunately.
So Mr Idumba Kumar went ahead and got his hands on this genuine Ford facelift kit for his EcoSport. And then he converted the old EcoSport into the new one which was never launched in India, but yes that’s how Ford intended to make the EcoSport facelift to look like.
In the facelifted version, aap spot kar sakte hain bigger front grille jo completely blacked out hain with red inserts making the front end of the Ford EcoSport bulky. Additionally, EcoSport facelift mein two sets of LED DRLs can be seen, jo headlamps mein integrated hain that have been kept intact, but bumper mein around the fog lamps new upside down L-shaped LED DRLs can be seen which turn up as turn indicators as well jo aap video mein dekh sakte hain.
Talking about the side profile so as such koi major changes nahi kiye gaye hain EcoSport facelift mein, alloy wheels bhi wahi same dekhne ko milenge. Rear profile mein again minor changes kiye gaye hain and ek changes hain new set of LED tail lamps, jiss mein LED lights hain for the positioning lamps which are always lit while the headlamps are switched on.
Coming inside, Ford EcoSport facelift mein as such major amount of changes nahi dekhne ko milenge, but yes Mr Idumba Kumar managed to fit in the fully digital instrument cluster jo global market mein Ford EcoSport ST Line (top end) variant mein diya jata hain. This upgrade is technically a complete after market modification and agar Ford EcoSport facelift officially launch hoti toh India mein digital cluster dekhne ko nahi milta.
Everything apart from the cluster remains identical jo EcoSport mein dekhne ko milta tha when it was being sold in the Indian market. Mr Indumba Kumar has kept the OEM fitted and provided free standing touchscreen infotainment system intact which is equipped with Ford’s latest Sync3 technology. Features ki list mein this original sub 4-meter SUV gets it all as this is a top end variant jiss mein offer kiye jaate hain following features: rain sensing wipers, push button start top, reverse parking camera, 6- airbags, ABS with EBD, and electric sunroof etc.
Engine has been kept stock, it is powered by the 1.5-litre, 3 cylinder, Ti-VCT petrol engine jo produce karta hain 122 PS ki max. power and 149 Nm ka max. torque. Diesel powertrain bhi on offer thi EcoSport mein which was the 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engine jo produce karta tha 100 PS ki max. power and 250 Nm ka max. torque.
