Honda Cars India has officially announced the unveil of its most selling sedan’s hybrid version, which is the new Honda City Hybrid or Honda City eHV to be specific. 1. New Honda City Hybrid Would Get Electric Motors Powering The Engine-
Honda City Hybrid or Honda City eHV mein Honda use karega i-MMD technology and yeh technology Honda apni international market ki cars mein bhi already use karta aa raha hain. Iss technology ke under, Honda City mein 1.5-litre petrol engine diya jayega with two electric motors. Ek motor would serve as an integrated starter generator and second one will be connected to the front axle adding the power of this front wheel car.
Honda City Hybrid ke yeh 1.5-litre petrol alone produce karega 98 PS ki power and 127 Nm ka torque. But electric motor ke saath yeh hybrid engine would be able to produce 109 PS ki max. power and 253 Nm ka max. torque.
2. Honda City Hybrid (eHV) Bootspace To Be Compromised-
Honda City Hybrid (eHV) mein two electric motors ke saath saath obviously lithium ion battery di jayegi. And the point here to note is that Honda City Hybrid mein yeh large lithium ion battery placed hogi in the boot area. And then eventually Honda City ki ample bootspace USP ab nahi rahegi.

Currently Honda City petrol variant ki price range start hoti hain from Rs.11.23 lakh and goes up to Rs.15.18 lakh ex-showroom New Delhi. But what we are expecting is that Honda City Hybrid (eHV) ki as such koi price range nahi hogi as it would be offered only in a single trim so uss trim ka price tag could be somewhere around Rs.17 lakh ex-showroom.
