Hyundai is planning to unveil its much awaited Hyundai Creta EV in the Bharat Mobility Expo on Jan 17, 2025. The Bharat Mobility Expo is going to showcase a lot more, but Creta is something which has captured great portion of the market and with its EV version Hyundai is going to rule the market. Here’s everything we know until now about the Hyundai Creta EV.
Hyundai Creta EV:
Design:
The design language of Hyundai Creta EV would be a lot similar to the existing Creta with just a few tweaks here and there. Mostly, some small elements which would make it look different from the ICE version. It is also expected to have new look front grille and bumpers.
On the interior as well, Hyundai Creta EV is going to have the same looks. The screens is going to be of the similar size. You will get a three spoke steering wheel with the drive mode selector mounted on the steering column. A new styled center console will enhance the look a little more.
Features:
Creta has always been a feature rich car, so we can expect all the features in the new Hyundai Creta EV. We anticipate that the vehicle is going to have level 2 ADAS, 360 camera, ventilated seats, dual-zone climate control, electronic parking brakes along with all the standard features.
Battery & Power:
The Hyundai Creta EV is going to have a 45kWh battery pack, similar to the Tata Curvv EV’s entry level model. However there will be only this battery option here. It is expected to come with front mounted motor which will produce 138hp and 255Nm of Torque.
Competitors:
As of now the MG ZS EV is already in the market which comes with 50.3kWh battery pack and good features as well. Then there is Tata Curvv EV which also comes with two battery options 45kWh and 55kWh. Also, Maruti is soon going to launch its eVX which will give a tough competition to creta.
Then the market crasher The Mahindra BE6 and XEV9 both are likely to be launched in the Bharat Mobility Expo this Jan 25. There is going to be a tough competition amongst EVs in 2025.
