Hyundai Motor India Ltd. has officially unveiled the images of their new upcoming car Exter in their website. Hyundai Exter is expected to be a strong rival of the current segment leader Tata Punch, although we don’t expect it to be safer than the Punch but yes since it is a Hyundai aap ko zyada features, better build quality and feel good factor better milega Exter mein in comparison to Tata Punch. Lets talk about the interior in more detail, Hyundai Exter ka interior pehle hee leak ho chuka tha and we got to see the dashboard layout in those images. But now Hyundai Exter ke complete cabin ki images showcase kari jaa chuki hain and we can spot some design elements taking inspiration from other Hyundai models like Grand i10 Nios and Aura.
First look mein aap dekh sakte hain free standing 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system jo support karega wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay below the touchscreen we can see the horizontally placed AC air vents and further below you have the automatic climate control unit. Uske neeche charging ports can be seen with a 12V socket as well. Driver ke liye diya gaya hain 3-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls of audio, voice assistant, cruise control, etc. instrument cluster bhi digital diya gaya hain 4.2-inch size ka which seems to be taken from the sister brand Kia.
Hyundai Exter equipped hogi with Hyundai’s connected car tech BlueLink which hosts over 60 connected features. Other features ki agar baat kare toh woh hain electric single pane sunroof, dashcam with dual camera setup, fabric seat upholstery, rear AC vents, LED project headlamps, LED tail lamps, LED DRLs etc.
What we didn’t like immediately about the cabin of the Hyundai Exter is that there are no arm rests given for both rows of seats. Front row mein driver comfort ke liye toh at least arm rest diya jaa sakta tha and when someone is going to spend money for the top end variant of this car then definitely arm rests should have included for both the rows.
Coming on to the safety features of this car, according to the brand yeh gaadi equipped hogi with over 40 advanced safety features like headlamp escort function, automatic headlamps, ISOFIX child seat mounts, rear defogger, rear parking camera and sensors, tyre pressure monitoring system, burglar alarm etc.
Apart from these features 26 safety features aise hain jo Hyundai Exter ke sab hee variants mein as standard safety features offer kiye jayenge like 6 airbags, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management) and HAC (Hill Assist Control), 3-Point Seat Belt & seatbelt reminder (all seats), Keyless Entry, ABS with EBD, Rear Parking Sensors, ESS, Burglar Alarm and many more.
Hyundai Exter Engine Options-
Engine options ki agar baat kare toh, Hyundai Exter will be equipped with two engine options and No! there is no turbo petrol engine on offer. First engine option jo available hoga woh hain 1.2-litre Kappa Petrol engine (E20 Fuel Ready) and second engine is the 1.2-litre Bi-fuel Kappa petrol with CNG engine. Normal petrol engine ke saath 5-speed manual and AMT transmission options and CNG engine ke saath only 5-speed manual transmission unit on offer hoga.
Hyundai Exter available hogi in five variants: EX, S, SX, SX(O) and SX(O) Connect. Yeh gaadi available hogi in special ‘Ranger Khaki’ colour scheme with dual tone Black roof finish as optional.
