Zero Waste to Landfill Initiative-
JK Tyre kehta hai ki iss initiative ke through woh landfill waste disposal ko stop kar diya hai. Ye waste ko totally eliminate kiya jaata hai at source ya off-site recycle kiya jaata hai. JKTIL ne robust Integrated Waste Management plan ko bhi develop kiya hai for all types of waste jaise rubber compound, scrap green tyres, cut flaps, trimmings, used tyres, etc. The British Standards Institution ne verify kiya hai ki jo bhi waste generate ho raha hai woh kisi bhi tareeke se landfill me nahi jaa raha.
The British Standards Institution ne 5 manufacturing locations in Rajasthan, Chennai, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttrakhand ko audit kiya hai. Audit karne ke baad, ye confirm hua ki no waste, either solid or liquid was disposed to landfill and JKTIL ke all 5 manufacturing locations ko certify kiya as a ZERO WASTE TO LANDFILL PLANTS
