Kia Motors India have announced the launch of the new Kia Carens with the new 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine which produces a peak power of 160 PS and 253 Nm of peak torque. Yeh new turbocharged petrol replace karega old 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine ko which used to do its duty with the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. In fact very soon Kia Motors is going to announce the launch of their compact SUV Seltos with the new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine.

Talking more about the transmission options on offer, new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine ke saath abb Kia Carens mein offer kiya jayega 6-speed auto clutch transmission and a 7-speed DCT transmission unit. Apart from this engine option, Kia Carens continues to be offered with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine with both automatic and manual transmission options.
