Kia India Sales Performance, Shows Strong YoY Growth Of 47% In July 2022-
Kia India, one of the fastest-growing carmakers in the country, records monthly domestic sales of 22,022 units in July 2022, registering a 46.66% Y-0-Y growth over the corresponding month last year. Kia India ke sabse popular models Seltos and Sonet ka major contribution raha in this YoY growth followed by the newly launched Kia Carens and finally the premium offering Kia Carnival. Kia Seltos ke 8,451 units, Sonet ke 7,215 units and Carens ke 5,978 units and Carnival ke 288 units ki sale hui in the month of July 2022. The brand continues to be among the 5 best selling car brands in the country.
Kia India Sales Performance: July 2022-
In the first 7 months of CY2022, Kia India ne dispatch kari thi 1,43,845 units in the domestic market. Seltos and Sonet contributed the majority to Kia India’s CY 2022 sales with 40% and 33% share respectively. While the Carens, that was launched in the second half of February 2022 contributed over 25%.

“Gradual improvement in the supply chain and our customers’ continued love for the brand is adding momentum to Kia India’s growth. This year, we are outpacing the industry with cumulative growth of 28.4% over 2021, which is much higher than the industry growth of 16%. With the upcoming festive season, we shall strive to improve supplies to give faster deliveries to our customers. To ensure minimum wait time, we have been running our production facility in full capacity since February 2022 with utmost optimisation.”
As a part of its customer-centric approach, Kia India ne organise kiya tha ek nationwide ‘Ownership-Service Camp’ for Kia owners across its dealerships. Aimed at maintaining the health of Kia cars, yeh ek week lamba camp end kiya gaya tha on 27th July 2022 jiss mein over 30,000 Kia customers ne participate kiya tha.
Recent achievement ki agar baat kare toh, Kia India ne cross kiya 5 lakh sales milestone in less than 3 years since its start of sales operation in the country. With the July 2022 sales, total domestic sales figure of the brand stands at 5,11,219 units.
