This time yeh crash test conduct kiya gaya tha under the updated protocols of Global Ncap.
Mahindra Scorpio N Global NCAP Crash Report-
GNCAP mein test kiya gaya spec of the Mahindra Scorpio N was in its basic safety specification fitted with two frontal airbags and ABS. Electronic stability control and side curtain airbags dono hee safety features standard nahi hain however curtain airbags are standard in the majority of units produced. Child occupant protection mein 3-star rating ke peeche ka major reason hain the lack of three point seatbelts in the rear seat of the SUV.

Side impact mein head, chest, abdomen and pelvis protection proved to be good, side pole impact test mein curtain airbags met the fitment requirements and pole impact test was performed in a version with side head protection airbags, showing good protection to the head, abdomen and pelvis, and weak protection to the chest. ESC bhi meet karta hain fitment rate requirements and the performance shown in the test prove hua acceptable according to Global Ncap’s latest requirements.
Child occupant protection ki agar baat kare toh, frontal impact mein child seat for a 3 year old was installed rearward facing using the i-size anchorages and a support leg and it was able to prevent head exposure during the frontal impact offering full protection. Side impact test mein dono hee CRS’s ne offer kari full side impact protection. Scorpio N does not offer 3-point seatbelts in all seating positions. The car offers the possibility to disconnect the passenger airbag in case a rearward facing CRS will be installed in this position. Most of the CRS installation passed for the assesed CRS.
