MG Motor India today unveiled its smart electric vehicle, the MG Comet EV, announcing a new chapter in urban mobility solutions for India. MG Comet EV ek versatile GSEV-platform based pure EV hain which has a minimalist yet spacious design and possesses an inherent agility jo allow karti hain smooth, stress-free commuting within the city. MG Comet EV Launched In India: Complete Details-
Dimensions se start karte hain, toh MG Comet EV measures 2974 mm in overall length, 1505 mm in width excluding mirrors, 1640 mm in height, 2010 mm in wheelbase and a turning radius of 4.2 metres. Drivetrain specifications ki agar baat kare toh, MG Comet EV equipped hain with a permanent magnet synchronous motor and a 17.3 kWh battery pack jo capable hain to offer 230 kms ki driving range in single full charge. The electric motor produce karti hain 42 PS ki max. power and 110 Nm ka max. torque.
With this battery pack, MG Comet EV ko charge kiya jaa sakta hain in 7 hours using a 3.3 kW charger from 0 to 100%. Whereas 0-80% charging achieve kari jaa sakti hain withing 5 hours. Charger connection type for this electric vehicle is a type 2 charger connection type. Front mein disc brakes di gayi hain and rear end mein di gayi hain drum brakes, in terms of suspension McPherson Strut front suspension and rear mein diya gaya hain Multi-Link Coil suspension.

Coming on to the safety features on offer, MG Comet EV is a safe and robust vehicle in all aspects as per the brand, it comes powered with a 17.3 kWh Li-ion battery with prismatic cells that have undergone 39 battery plus car safety tests for a longer cycle life. It is a IP67 rated making it highly resistant to water and dust. All these ensure maximum safety for every possible condition.
MG Comet EV ki body high strength vehicle body hain with 17 hot stamping panels makes the overall structure of the MG Comet EV strong and safe. The smart EV comes loaded with segment leading active and passive safety features such as dual front airbags, ABS+EBD, front and rear 3 pointer seat belts, rear parking camera and sensor, tyre pressure monitoring system and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
