MG Comet EV India’s Smallest Car Revealed, Starting Price To Be Announced By End Of April 2023-
MG Motor India have finally unveiled their smallest car which is now technically India’s smallest car jo April end tak officially market mein available ho jayegi. For the time being, MG Motor ne prices reveal nahi kiye hain but April end mein starting price of this micro EV reveal kardiye jayenge. MG Comet EV ko develop karne ke peeche ka vision hain to provide easy, hassle free and pocket friendly city commute jo usually heavy traffic ki wajah se kaafi stressful bann jata hain both in terms of fuel economy and swift manoeuvring of the vehicle.
MG Comet EV Revealed In India: To Offer 230 Km Driving Range-
MG Comet EV MG Comet ek micro electric vehicle ke form mein launch kari jayegi, and it is going to be a small car with only two doors for passenger entry/exit and the third door would be the tail gate of this micro EV. Specifications ki agar baat kare toh, Indian market mein yeh gaadi launch kari jayegi with a 17.3 kWh battery pack mated to a permanent magnet synchronous motor. Yeh motor produce karti hain 42 PS ki max. power and 110 Nm ka max. torque with a claimed driving range of 230 kms.
Charging ki agar baat kare toh, with a 3.3 kW charger 0-100% charging ka claimed time is around 5 hours whereas 0-80% charging can be achieved in 7 hours. Coming on to the exterior and interior features toh, MG Comet EV ki brochure leak ho chuki hain media platforms par and according to those, MG Comet EV will be equipped with the following features:
LED headlamps and tail lamps, illuminated MG logo, front and rear connecting lights, LED turn indicators, aero wipers, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, keyless entry, electrically adjustable ORVM, power windows, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering mounted controls, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking camera, follow me home headlamps, tyre pressure monitoring system, leather wrapped steering wheel etc.
Design of this small car is quite quirky if we can sum it up in a single adjective. Definitely the design is polarising, some people might like and some won’t, but looking at the size yeh small gaadi congested areas of the cities mein kaafi useful hogi and even for daily commute through traffic filled roads.
MG Comet EV ke expected pricing ki agar baat kare toh, definitely this point would be the most interesting one because agar iss gaadi ko survive karna hain toh pricing should be highly competitive. According to us, MG Comet EV ka price somewhere around Rs.7 lakh hoti hain toh this car might survive and our realistic expectations say that MG Comet EV ka price could be somewhere around Rs.11 lakh mark.
