Citroen C5 Aircross facelift has been officially teased ahead of its launch in India. Citroen C5 Aircross Indian market mein last year April 2021 mein launch kari gayi thi and it has not been a very pleasing sales journey for the French brand. But recently Citroen ne apni C3 compact car launch kari which has started to grab attention way better than C5 Aircross did. So now Citroen is planning to launch their latest version of C5 Aircross jo already European market mein launch kari jaa chuki thi earlier this year.
New Citroen C5 Aircross facelift mein exterior and interior dono mein hee changes kiye gaye hain at a great extent which makes the C5 now look way more sleek and sharp. Prices are also expected to go up, currently Citroen C5 Aircross ki price range start hoti hain from Rs.32.73 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base Feel variant and goes up to Rs.33.78 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top end Shine variant.

New Citroen C5 Aircross facelift ke exterior mein spot kar sakte hain few cosmetic changes, front end mein front fascia mein updates like new and sleeker LED headlamps with LED DRLs integrated into the grille design. Other design highlights mein included hain redesigned front bumper, chrome bumper lip, new character lines on bonnet, wider air dam, newly designed 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, chrome window lining, roof rails, gloss black ORVMs etc.
Interior mein major changes kiye gaye hain with a new 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, redesigned AC vents and new centre console. List of features mein included hain features like, front ventilated seats with massage function, digital instrument cluster, dual zone automatic climate control, premium sound system, driving modes, multiple airbags, blind spot monitor, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers etc.
The new Citroen C5 Aircross is available in three powertrains in the European market jo hain PHEV, petrol and diesel. PHEV variant mein 13.2 kwh ka battery pack diya gaya hain jo gaadi ki combined power ho jaati hain around 222 hp which is 45 hp more than the diesel motor. Diesel engine is the 2.0-litre engine jo produce karta hain 177 hp ki max. power and 400 Nm ka max torque mated to a 8-speed automatic transmission unit.
But Indian market mein hybrid drivetrain offer kiye jaane ke chances kam hain, it is expected to be powered by diesel engine only jo currently on offer hain. Yeh diesel engine 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine hain jo produce karta hain 178 PS ki max. power and 400 Nm ka max. torque mated to a 8-speed automatic transmission unit.
