New Honda City eHEV Production Begins, India’s Supreme Electric Hybrid-
Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL), leading manufacturer of premium cars in India, has commenced the production of the much awaited India’s Supreme Electric Hybrid, New Honda City eHEV. Honda ke make in India promise ke under yeh new Honda City eHEV ko manufacture kiya jayega at the world class manufacturing facility at Honda’s facility in Tapukara, Rajasthan. New Honda City eHEV hain apne segment and India ki sabse pehli hybrid electric vehicle in the mainstream segment.
On the commencement of the production of the new Honda City eHEV, Honda Cars India ke President & CEO, Mr. Takuya Tsumara ka kehna kuch iss prakar tha:
“It’s a delight to share that we are commencing the production of the City e:HEV from our Tapukara facility in the state of Rajasthan. The milestone also marks our commitment to bring advanced technologies for Indian customers and beginning of our electrification journey in India. As a company, we have always been aligned with the Government of India’s vision of Make in India as well as bringing environmentally friendly technologies.”
New Honda City eHEV: All Details-
Starting from the main highlight of this car, toh Honda City eHEV mein diya gaya hain unique self-charging and highly efficient two motor e-CVT hybrid system connected to a smooth 1.5-litre Atkinson-Cycle DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine, Intelligent Power Unit (IPU) with advanced Lithium-ion Battery and an engine linked direct coupling clutch.
Honda City eHEV ka electric hybrid system use karta hain three driving modes jo hain: EV drive, Hybrid drive and engine drive along with regeneration mode during deceleration. Hybrid system ka Clever Power Control Unit ensure karta hain that poora system remains in harmony in order to provide an energetic response, seamlessly and automatically switching between three
modes based on various driving situations.
Power figures ki agar baat kare toh, Honda City eHEV ka engine combined power of 126 PS ki produce karta hain with a maximum motor torque of 253 Nm @ 0-3000 RPM. Gaadi ka advanced electric servo brake system with all four disc brakes contribute karta hain in maintaining fuel efficiency and provide karta hain smooth braking experience to the driver.
New Honda City eHEV mein Honda ne diya hain apna in house developed Advanced Intelligent safety tech, ‘Honda Sense’ for the first time in India in any of there cars. Iss system ko operate kiya jata hain by high-performance front camera with a wide-angle, far-reaching detection system using which driver ko car collisions ke pehle alert kardeti hain minimising the risk of accidents. Honda Sense technology mein features like Collision Mitigation, Braking System (CMBS), Adaptive Cruise Control, Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) and Auto High-Beam diye gaye hain.
