Honda Cars India launched the facelift of the 5th gen City last week and not much has been changed both on the outside and inside but Honda ne introduce kardiya hain ADAS with the new Honda City facelift. Although, Honda City Hybrid mein ADAS last year hee introduce kardiya gaya tha but hybrid variant ki cost always had people thinking. New Honda City facelift ko launch kiya gaya hain in single engine option which is the 1.5-litre iVTEC petrol motor with the 6-speed manual and CVT automatic transmission units. But the first drive impression video is about the petrol manual Honda City which now comes equipped with ADAS too.
New Honda City Facelift Launched With New Features: Complete Details-
New Honda City ke exterior ki agar baat kare toh, front end mein it gets the same set of LED headlamps but the front grille is tweaked, thick chrome strip jo dekhne ko milti thi pehle abb usko thoda slim kardiya gaya hain making the mesh-like front grille more visible. Additionally, abb sensors and radar front end mein car ke diye gaye hain operating in tandem for ADAS features.
Side profile mein again nothing major has been changed apart from the slightly tweaked alloy wheels, rear end mei aap spot kar sakte hain redesigned rear bumper with added black diffuser type finish and tail gate mounted spoiler which seems as an additional accessory. Apart from that, body coloured shark fin antenna, same LED tail lamp units and overall similar rear profile dekh jaa sakta hain.
Coming inside, toh new 5th gen Honda City facelift ke interior same dual tone dashboard has been given with wooden finishes. Engine ki jaha tak baat aati hain toh, Honda ne existing 1.5-litre iVTEC 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine ko hee re-tune kiya hain complying with the updated BS-VI norms. Naturally aspirated engine produce karta hain 121 hp ki max. power mated to 6-speed manual and CVT transmission units, whereas the hybrid engine produces 126 hp ki max. power mated to eCVT unit.
