Hyundai Motor India Ltd. is planning to upgrade its premium seven seater SUV Alcazar for the Indian market. Hyundai Alcazar full size SUV hain based on the 5-seater Creta, it was launched in 2021 for the first time and it is even exported to other international markets as well. Since its launch definitely Hyundai Alcazar ko Creta jaisa success nahi mil paya but we guess Hyundai India didn’t really set their expectation as high as for the Creta.

It’s quite clear that under the camouflage it is the 7-seater version of Hyundai Creta because specifically third row or D-pillar waale gaadi ke region ko cover kiya gaya hain to hide the overall updated SUV’s appearance and road presence.

Starting from the looks of the SUV with the camouflage on, spy shots sirf rear end ka dekhne ko mila hain and partial side profile also. Sabse major changes on the side profile of the SUV would be the new set of alloy wheels with new design with diamond cut finish. Apart from that since rear profile is completely hidden toh as such koi creases or character lines spot nahi kari jaa sakti hain to make out what all changes are done to the rear profile of the car.

Interior ki agar baat kare toh, again minor changes hee expected hain because it would be a facelift and not a generation change. But yes features ki list mein addition/subtractions kiye jayenge across the complete line up. Top end variants mein we are expecting that Hyundai could offer more ADAS level 2 features just to bring the comprehensive feel which has been missing till now.
Coming on to the specifications, engine wise there are expected to be no changes at all. Currently, Hyundai Alcazar is offered in two engine options with multiple transmission options. First engine option hain 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine jo produce karta hain 160 PS ki max. power and 253 Nm ka max. torque mated to 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT units.
Second engine option hoga 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine jo produce karta hain 115 PS ki max. power and 250 Nm ka max. torque mated to 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque convertor automatic unit.
Expected launch timeline is somewhere around first quarter of next year that is 2024. Official debut could take place by the end of this year as well but price announcement and deliveries are expected to begin next year.
