New Kia Sonet Facelift Debuts In India, Now Gets Advanced Driver Assistance Systems Level 1-
Kia Motors India, one of the leading mass market car maker announced the debut of the new Kia Sonet facelift with plethora of new features and updated exterior and interior design. New Kia Sonet facelift ka official launch next year 2024 mein scheduled hain although bookings should begin prior to that. This time Kia has left no stone unturned in terms of giving the latest features and tech in this new avatar of Sonet, considering the fact that it is a sub 4-meter compact SUV.
Kia Sonet has been the second most selling product from the house of Kia Motors India and, definitely we are expecting it to get the same response for the latest version as well looking at the features and premium feel this car comes with.
2024 Kia Sonet Facelift Finally Revealed: First Look Comprehensive Walk Around Video-
Starting from the exterior, there have been no technical changes in terms of dimensions but cosmetics have been re-done or we can say enhanced. Front end mein aap dekh sakte hain masculine stance with a upright body style with strong character lines on the bonnet. It gets a new Tiger nose front grille, new crown jewel LED headlamps with sharp C-shaped star map LED DRLs, LED fog lamps (Sleek/ICE cube), silver finish around the grille and front bumper etc.
From the sides, new Kia Sonet facelift gets new set of diamond 16-inch cut alloy wheels. Sonet X Line gets same set of alloy wheels, but with the Matte Black body colour those wheels definitely look much better. Apart from the wheels nothing else has been changed, it gets the following: non-functional roof rails, shark fin antenna, black cladding over wheel arches, LED turn indicators on ORVMs and request sensor on outside door handles.
Coming on to the rear profile of the new Kia Sonet facelift, toh again aap spot kar sakte hain connected star map LED tail lamps and why not connected tail lamps have been a trend lately. Additionally, it gets faux skid plates, revamped rear bumper, body coloured rear spoiler, rear wiper and washer etc.
Interior ki agar baat kare toh, new Kia Sonet facelift mein as such major changes nahi kiye hain in terms of layout but features mein additions kiye gaye hain for a more premium and upmarket cabin feel. It gets the following equipment: LED sound ambient lighting, 7-speaker premium Bose sound system, dual screen connected panel design full digital cluster with 10.25-inch colour LCD MID and 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, new GT line logo on the steering wheel, 5 interior colour options with 1 new colour, 360-degree camera with blind view monitor in cluster, 4-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat etc.
The newest and the most interesting feature addition in the new Kia Sonet facelift is ADAS Level 1 suite. Now Kia Sonet equipped hain with 10 autonomous features including Front Collision Avoidance Assist (FCA),
Leading Vehicle Departure Alert (LVDA), Lane Following Assist (LFA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), High Beam Assist (HBA), Driver Attention Warning (DAW), Front Collision Warning (FCW) etc.
Safety features ki list mein 15 standard features hain jo hain: ESC, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability management, hill assist, 6 airbags, brake force assist system, rear parking sensors, TPMS, all 3-point seat belts etc.
