Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced the introduction of a CNG powertrain with their JV product which is the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG ke saath claimed mileage offer karegi of 26.6 km/kg and offer kari jayegi in two trims jo hain E-CNG S and E-CNG G. Hyryder ka S variant is one above the base variant whereas, G variant is one below the top end variant in the NeoDrive line up of Hyryder jo hain mild hybrid trims. Strong hybrid mein S trim becomes the base and G becomes the mid variant.

Starting from the changes or updates, toh as such no major updates have been done in the CNG line up. Toh jo features customers ko Hyryder S and G variants mein offer kiye jaate hain wahi sab same features and elements E-CNG S and E-CNG G variants mein on offer honge respectively.
S variant mein features on offer are: bi-halogen headlamps, LED positioning lamps, LED tail lamps, steel wheel with full wheel cap, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, keyless entry, push button start/stop, dual airbags, reverse parking camera and sensors, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability control etc.

Engine specifications of the new Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder stand similar to what the smaller Glanza CNG offers. Although yes, being a compact SUV iss gaadi mein Glanza wala same engine hote hue bhi power output ko increase kiya gaya hain. Hyryder ka 1.5-litre bi-fuel 4-cylinder engine produce karta hain 100.6 PS ki max. power (petrol mode) and 87.8 PS ki max. power in CNG mode. Torque ki agar baat kare toh CNG mode mein 121.5 Nm ka max. torque and in petrol mode 136 Nm ka max. torque.
CNG variants mein only 5-speed manual transmission is on offer. Also, CNG tank ki capacity is around 60 litres in which is expected to accommodate decent amount of gas as the cylinder has been fitted inside the boot and definitely bootspace compromise ho chuki hain.
