Soaring petrol prices ne customers ke mind me speculation arise kar diya hai if it’s a good time to buy cars in India. India me EV infrastructure abhi bhi developing stages par hai and EV market itna grow nahi kar paa raha hai. Consumers ne recently apna interest CNG vehicles ke towards shift kar diya hai and even big players like Maruti Suzuki ne bhi confirm kiya hai ki who apne vehicles ko CNG variant me jald introduce karenge.
Tata Motors bhi apne vehicles pe CNG variant introduce karne wala hai. Reports se pata chala hai ki Tiago and Tigor ke CNG variants ko as soon as in January 2022 launch kiya jaa sakta hai. In dono cars ke CNG variants ko previously road par test karte hue spot kiya gaya tha. Recently, Tata Punch jo Tata Motors ki newest offering hai, usse bhi CNG kit ke saath test karte hue spot kiya gaya. Although Tata Punch ke electric version ko bhi jald launch kiya jaa sakta hai, but for time being Tata Motors iss vehicle ko CNG variant ke saath launch karega.
Tata Motors CNG Engine
Tata Tiago, Tigor and Punch me hume same 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspired revotron petrol engine offer kiya jaata hai jo 86 PS power and 113 Nm torque produce karta hai. Hum expect karte hai ki Tata CNG variant iss engine option ke saath offer kare. Ye engine 5 speed manual transmission ke saath combine kiya jaayega. Upon the launch, Tiago CNG compete karegi with Marut Wagon R CNG, Tigor CNG will compete with Aura CNG and Punch CNG will compete with S-Presso CNG.
