TVS Sold 3,02,982 Units In May 2022, Boost In Sales After May 2021 Lockdown-
TVS Motor Company sales was at 302,982 units in May 2022. The year-on-year growth is not comparable due to the low base of sales in May 2021 because of the localised lockdown imposed by the Government of India during that period. But still TVS ki sales May 2022 mein positive note par end hui and loss recovery bhi possible ho paayi.
Total two wheelers ki sales ki agar baat kare toh last year May 2021 mein TVS ne sell kari thi 1,54,416 units but iss saal May 2022 mein TVS sold 2,87,058 units. Domestic two-wheeler sales grow kari from 52,084 units in May 2021 to 1,91,482 units in May 2022 which means three times se bhi zyada sales growth experience kari TVS Motor Company ne.
Motorcycles sales mein bhi growth dekhne ko mili, 1,25,188 units sale hui in May 2021 but May 2022 mein 1,48,560 units sale hui. Scooter sales ki agar baat kare toh TVS Motor Company ne sell kari 1,00,665 units in May 2022 mein whereas last year May 2021 mein sirf 19,627 units ki sales kari which means almost around 5 times ki sales growth dekhne ko mili.
The shortage in the supply of semiconductors has impacted the production and sales of premium two-wheelers. But to tackle all these problems TVS Motor Company aggressively kaam kar rahi hain and important steps le rahi hain to improve supplies. Although some improvements have been seen this month jiske chalte company optimistic hain that volumes will revive to normal levels once the semiconductor supplies improve.
International business ki agar baat kare toh TVS Motor Company ne export kari 1,10,245 units in May 2022 and last year May 2021 mein export figures rahi 1,14,674 units. Two wheelers exports recorded sales of 95,576 units in May 2022 as against
102,332 units in May 2021. Coming to the sales of three wheelers, toh TVS Motor Company ne sell kiye 15,924 units in May 2022 whereas last year May 2021 mein sirf 12,473 units sell hui thi which means TVS experienced 28% growth in sales.
Electric two wheelers ke segment mein TVS Motor Company ne recently apni iQube electric scooter launch kari. And by May 2022 TVS iQube electric scooters ki 2,637 units sell kardi gayi hain.
