New 2022 Toyota Hyryder Unveiled In India | Gets AWD, Panoramic Sunroof, Ventilated Seats Etc.-

So we are talking about the new 2022 Toyota Hyryder, iss gaadi ka complete name hain Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder. This SUV will be manufactured by Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. as well but it is an all new product with Maruti’s engines and all new features and equipment. In fact Toyota Hyryder is expected to be launched under Maruti’s brand name as well in order to replace the recently discontinued Maruti S-Cross.

Exterior se shuruat kare toh, new Toyota Hyryder ka front end gets split headlamp setup jiss mein on top LED DRLs dekhne ko milenge and below that LED headlamp units. Both the LED DRLs are connected with a thick chrome grille with Toyota logo at the centre. Issi gaadi ka ek aur version design kiya jayega for Maruti Suzuki, it will get few changes here and there to make it look distinctive from Toyota Hyryder.
Side profile se agar gaadi ko dekhe toh, firstly we notice is the stance of the SUV. It is 4.3 meters in length which means yeh gaadi strong competition degi to the current segment leaders like Creta, Seltos, Kushaq etc. It gets squared black cladding on the wheel arches and the door panels. Beneath cladding we can see the sloping roofline, 17-inches diamond cut alloy wheels, blacked out ORVMs, dual tone paint scheme with roof in gloss black, roof rails etc.
Now coming to the rear end of the new Toyota Hyryder, toh it has been given a very sleek look with the C-shaped LED tail lamps, thick chrome strip extending across the tail gate with the Toyota badge, unconventionally placed side indicator and reverse lamp, black faux bash plate under the rear bumper, rear wiper and washer, high mount stop lamp, roof mounted spoiler etc.
Now coming on to the interior of this compact SUV, which according to us looks very premium and plush at first glance. And this time Toyota ne apne aap ko hee wrong prove kardiya hain by offering so many modern features and specially a sunroof and that too a panoramic one. Now talking about the list of features, so new Toyota Hyryder mein following features will be on offer: automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, engine push start/stop, front ventilated seats, head up display, 360-degree camera, leather upholstery, soft touch leather in the centre of dashboard with stitching, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ambient lighting, wireless phone charging pad, driving modes, Arkamys sound system, Toyota i-connect connected car tech, auto dimming IRVM etc.
Engine options ki agar baat kare toh Toyota Hyryder mein same engine option available hoga in two tunings. First one will be the 1.5-litre K15 mild hybrid engine with small Li-ion battery and yeh engine tuning produce karega 102 PS ki max. power and 135 Nm ka max. torque mated to 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic.
There’s one more surprise with this engine tuning which is the option of all wheel drive powertrain jo offer karega Toyota with 5-speed manual gearbox. Second engine tuning hain 1.5-litre K15 engine with self charging electric motor with the electric motor yeh engine produce karega 116 PS ki total max. power and with the electric motor on board Hyryder is capable of running 40% of distance and 60% of time on electric (EV) or zero emission mode mated with an e-drive transmission system.
