Tata Motors Sales Performance Stood At 2.28 Lakh Units With A Growth Rate Of 14%-
Tata Motors Limited today announced its sales in the domestic & international markets, for Q3FY23, which stood at 2,28,169 units, compared to 1,99,634 units during Q3FY22. Domestic sales performance ki baat kare toh, Tata Motors se sell kari 72,997 units in the month of December 2022 in comparison to the 66,307 units jo sell kari gayi thi December 2021 mein. Inn numbers ke saath brand ne record kari 10% sales growth and then simultaneously, 2.23 lakh units ki sale register hui in Q3FY23 against the 1.89 lakh units ki sales jo register hui thi in Q3FY22 which resulted in a sales growth of 17.7%.

Brand ki iss sales performance (commercial vehicles) par, Mr. Girish Wagh, Executive Director, Tata Motors Ltd. ka kehna kuch iss prakar tha:
“Tata Motors commercial vehicles domestic sale in Q3FY23 at 91,704 units grew 1.3% over Q3FY22, while being 2% lower than those recorded in Q2FY23. Our continued focus on retail during the quarter resulted in retail sales surpassing wholesale by 13% in December’22, by 6.3% in Q3FY23, and reducing inventory as we transition towards BSVI phase-2 norms. The growth in Q3FY23, was led by stronger sales of MHCVs (+35% vs Q3FY22) and a robust recovery in passenger carriers demand (+84% vs Q3FY22).
Improving fleet utilizations, pick up in road construction projects and increase in cement consumption catalysed the demand recovery for MHCVs. CV exports, however, remained subdued due to the prevailing economic situation in most overseas markets. Going forward, we expect a good replacement demand, especially in MHCVs in Q4 FY23, as we also maintain a close watch on the evolving geopolitical situation, inflation and interest rate risks on both the supply and demand.”

Tata Tiago EV: Real World Range Test-
Tata Tiago EV will be offered with medium range and long range battery packs, what we tested was the long range version, Tata Tiago EV ke long range variants mein 24 kWh ka battery pack diya gaya hain with which the claimed range stands at 315 kms (MIDC). Real life conditions mein we tested this car with the AC on and in almost every possible road jo humari reach mein thi at the time of testing.
We found out that claimed range se somewhere around 60% se 65% tak ka range offer kiya Tiago EV ne, in our case hum ne sports mode mein switch nahi kiya to churn out as much range as possible. This means that hume from 100% till 2% charge left situation mein around 185 kms tak ki range offer kari gaadi ne, obviously 2% mein agar hum aur drive karte toh maybe 185 kms ka figure could have change to somewhere 190 kms. But definitely yeh situation hum ne aane di to properly test the vehicle, but real life mein jab charge somewhere 10-15% left hoga tab hee driver would bring the car to the nearest charging port available, jo ki definitely ideal and wise decision hoga kisi bhi EV owner ka.
